At Sephirus, we craft meaningful medical communication by grounding science in empathy and the human experience. While our work centers on translating complex data into clear, compelling narratives, our values extend beyond our deliverables and shape how we lead, collaborate, and advocate for the communities we serve.

This year, that commitment is deeply personal. Our President and Creative Principal, Heather Hartley-Thorne, recently marked the fourth anniversary of the passing of her childhood best friend, Sheryl, who lived with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). In Sheryl’s memory, Heather chose to transform grief into action by launching a fundraiser through the National MS Society.

Blending creativity with purpose, Heather is crocheting a handmade blanket to be gifted to one donor selected at random when the fundraiser concludes. What began as an act of remembrance has grown into a source of hope and momentum. Every stitch represents time, care, and intention; values that echo both our work at Sephirus and the resilience of the MS community.

Multiple sclerosis affects nearly 3 million people worldwide and remains a complex, lifelong condition. Continued research, education, and patient support are essential to advancing care. At Sephirus, leadership means visible commitment. As a medical communication design firm, we believe supporting organizations that bridge science, advocacy, and lived experience, like the National MS Society, is central to our mission. This fundraiser is a reminder that meaningful impact often begins with a personal story and the decision to act.

We invite our partners, clients, and friends to support the MS community by donating, sharing the campaign, or learning more about the work of the National MS Society. Every contribution helps advance research, support individuals living with MS, and honor the stories that inspire progress.

At Sephirus, we are reminded once again that when science, creativity, and compassion come together, real change is possible – one stitch, one story, and one purpose at a time.
